Kaolin is a cooperative gallery owned by several ceramic artists and designers, each with their own unique style. They all have their own workshops elsewhere but get together in the gallery to show and sell their work.
This is a bright and beautiful gallery, full of handmade treasures, sculptures and tableware. Every piece has its own texture, pattern and color depending on the artists. Some pieces just happen because of an unpredictable change of events in the making and others are carefully planned out from the beginning.
Whether it's choosing a beautiful gift, decorating your house with sculptures or just cheering yourself up buying a unique cup for your morning coffee ritual, this is your place.
The gallery is located on Skólavörðustígur "the artists street" in Reykjavik, Iceland. The ceramicists take a turn tending the gallery so if you come visit you will always meet one of us. Until then make use of our lovely online shop.
