Aurora bowls are porcelain bowlswith green glazes inside

The bowls connect the beauty of what the northern sky often displays on cold winter nights and the harshness of what the nature creates.

Outside is white unglazed porcelain mixed with ash from our famous Eyjafjallajökull, that last erupted in 2010 and on the inside is mix of glazes that create these beautiful colors and movements that remind us of the northern lights.

The bowls come in five sizes.

x-small - 4x8 cm

small - 5x9 cm

medium - 6x10 cm

large - 7x 14 cm

x-large - 9x 18 cm

Each bowl is handmade and unique.

Norðurljós skálar eru postulíns skálar sem vísa í norðurljósin og náttúruna.

Utan á skálunum er ösku úr Eyjafjallajökli, sem gaus svo eftirminnilega árið 2010, blandað saman við hvítt postulínið. Innan í skálunum eru litbrigði og hreyfing sem minna okkur á dans norðurljósanna á köldum vetrarkvöldum.

Skálarnar koma í fimm stærðum og hægt er að raða þeim ofan í hvor aðra.
