This week is Katrin V. Karlsdottir showcasing large pit-fired sculptures in the window of the gallery at Skolavordustigur 5. The sculptures are white when the go in the pit and are fired with live fire with all kinds of materials. The smoke from the materials burning creates the colors and the pattern.
