Randomly selected smoke-fired bowl, size 6

What bowl will you get? It is going to be a surprise!

But the bowl will always be a handmade unique piece of ceramic. Fired with an ancient method, in a pit with live fire. The smoke from the materials, burning in the pit, creates the colors and the pattern. The four elements, Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire play part in the creation while the bowl is fired in the pit outside in nature. These are the smallest bowls of six bowls that can be stacked as a nested set of bowls but are also beautiful on their own. 

This is one of a kind piece of art. No two items will ever look the same.  

After firing it is treated with a beeswax sealer. It's not suitable for food. 

Washing it in a dishwasher is not recommended. 

Approximately 5 cm wide, 6 cm long and 1 cm deep (1.9 x 2.4 x 0.4 inches).

The material is stoneware.

Hvað skál færðu? Það kemur á óvart! 

En skálin verður alltaf einstakur handgerður listmunur úr keramiki. Brenndur með fornri aðferð í holu með lifandi eldi. Reykurinn frá eldsmatnum býr til munstrið og litina. Frumöflin fjögur, jörð, vatn, eldur og loft eru þáttakendur í sköpuninn meðan munurinn er brenndur í holunni, úti í náttúrunni. Þessar skálar eru þær minnstu af sex stærðum sem hægt er að raða saman sem hreiðurskálasett en þær geta einnig vel staðið sjálfstæðar. 

Þessi gripur er sá eini sinnar tegundar. Engir tveir verða nokkurntíman eins. 

Eftir brennslu er skálin meðhöndluð með bývaxi. 

Hún er ekki ætluð undir matvæli. 

Ekki er ráðlagt að setja hana í uppþvottavél.

Stærðin er ca. 5x6x1 cm.  Steinleir.
